I cannot deny where I am from…. And as a Mexican I LOVE avocados.  It is a great source of fats so I eat one avocado a day.

You may be asking yourself if eating avocados is good since they are high in fat. Well, this delicious fruit has good fats that support cardiovascular health as well as helping reduce cholesterol. And there is more… it helps with vision, it is an extraordinary source of Vitamin E, supports the absorption of nutrients. And it is delicious!

This is a very easy recipe to make your own guacamole at home…  Please DON’T buy it at the supermarket!  Better yet, take some moment to prepare your own. It will be relaxing and it will be done with love for your family or your guests.

What do you need?

1 tomatoes, chopped
½ onion, chopped
1-2 serrano peppers, chopped
2-3 avocados
the juice of ½ lime
¼ teaspoon salt
Black pepper to taste
I like adding 5-6 drops of Lime Vitality/Plus essential oil

Smash the avocados and mix the rest of the ingredients. Leave the avocado seed in the guacamole that will help keeping it from turning black.

Enjoy it with chips or with your meals!
